You can make verbose be 1 or leave it out together - it depends how much information you want. (:messages:) gives lots of information (probably more debugging level) whereas verbose=2 is pretty reasonable and helpful. Security defaults can be modified as follows (choose one of the latter 2 options if you don't like the default):
